How to: CRM & Sales

Master your customer relationships and sales pipeline. Learn how to track leads, manage contacts, and close deals.

Managing Leads

Leads are potential customers who haven't purchased yet. Tracking them ensures no opportunity is lost.

Create a New Lead

  1. Navigate to CRM > Leads.
  2. Click the + New Lead button in the top right.
  3. Enter the prospect's details (Name, Company, Email).
  4. Set the Status (e.g., "New", "Contacted").
  5. Click Save.

Move a Lead through the Pipeline

As you progress with a prospect, update their stage in your sales pipeline.

  1. Go to CRM > Pipeline.
  2. Locate the lead card in its current column (e.g., "New").
  3. Click and drag the card to the next stage (e.g., "Qualified" or "Proposal").
  4. Alternatively, click the card to open details and update the Stage dropdown.

Convert a Lead to a Customer

When a lead is ready to buy, convert them to a permanent customer record.

  1. Open the Lead's detail page.
  2. Click the Convert button.
  3. Review the details and confirm. This creates a Customer record and archives the Lead.

Creating Quotes

Send professional estimates to your clients in minutes.

Drafting a Quote

  1. Navigate to ERP > Quoting.
  2. Click New Quote.
  3. Select an existing Customer or add a new one.
  4. Add Line Items for your services or products.
    • Enter description, quantity, and unit price.
    • Select a tax code (usually GST).
  5. Add optional notes or terms at the bottom.
  6. Click Save Draft to review, or Send to email it directly to the client.
Pro Tip: You can convert an accepted Quote directly into a Job or Invoice using the "Actions" menu on the quote page.
